It's been a difficult month, I have to say. I haven't made any progress on finding out where my daughter it and believe me, I've tried. I've used every kind of person search I know about but she must have known I would and hid herself accordingly. No phone records, change of address forms, or public documents at all. I wish I could just apologize and be done with this. But unfortunately that's not the way she wants it. Not that I'm giving up; au contraire my friends. My resolve has just been firmed up even more by my lack of success. I know I will find her. The next step is to use a background check on her place of employment and see if anyone there can give me information as to her whereabouts. One can only hope. Before I find her, however, I should drop a few pounds just to show I'm really serious about changing my life around. This might impress her. There's one small catch - I'm addicted to sweets. I'm going to start looking up junk food alternatives that don't suck because if I could just replace chocolate with raisins or something I think I would feel a whole lot better about stuff, even with all the setbacks.
Man, you would think that since I know how to find someone so easily, it would be no problem to people search my daughter, right? Nope. I'm having a really difficult time. I'm even starting to wonder if they are using aliases or something to keep me off the trail. Wouldn't surprise me considering what a scoundrel her husband is. I know they used one of these Companies That Move So You Don't Have To - because they're lazy! Anyway, I've been stressed out lately, so I've been doing some Damage Control.
So my daughter up and left. She and her husband moved. For a while, I thought he might have kidnapped her, but then she sent me an email that said that they'd moved to get away from my meddling. Can you believe that? (Part of me isn't sure I believe it. I wonder whether he's forcing her at gunpoint to write that email.) Now it looks like I'll have to search people to find my daughter. Good things I'm such a good people finder, I'll find her in no time. Here's the best people search on the web, by the way. You know it's funny, since people search caused this rift between my daughter and I, you might think that I would have given up on it. But now that I need to find her, I'm a big people search advocate.
So I told my daughter about some of the skeletons I found in her hubby's family's closet, and she yelled at me to mind my own business. Now, I can understand that reaction. It's hard to hear that people you love and care about are actually deeply troubled, unfortunate people. So I waited a few days before I called her to give her specifics. And she yelled at me again! She said I should mind my own business and shouldn't mess in other people's lives! I explained that all the information I had gotten from people search was publicly available, but that didn't change her mind. She said she didn't care what person lookup I'd done--she just didn't want to hear about it! I know my daughter loves her husband, but I can't believe she's keeping her head in the sand. Maybe she'll change her tune once I send her news articles now that I know all about finding news archives online.
Wow, has it really been that long since I last updated? As you can imagine, the holidays have been a whirlwind for me, what with seeing my new special lady and juggling that time with my newlywed daughter. Unfortunately, not everything has been quite so hunky dory. Now, don't get my wrong, I love my daughter and her new hubby. However, his parents and that whole side of the family are completely psychotic. They invited me over for Christmas, which was sweet and all, since my daughter would be joining them, and I didn't want to spend Christmas alone. But then they set fire to my cat! Seriously! I had to take my cat with me, and their five year old nephew set fire to poor Mr. Boots! Fortunately, due to my uncanny skill to find someone I was able to track down more information about that side of the family. They've got a more than a few bankruptcies, let me tell you what! See, this is why it's so great to know about finding people, it can confirm your worst fears about your in-laws! My son-in-law was talking about how to plan a family reunion, but they can definitely count me out, thank you very much!
I can't stay long because I have a date tonight. I'm excited about it too. I'm still seeing my special lady, and things are going great. She invited me to come meet her family at Thanksgiving, so I think I'm going to go if it doesn't bother my daughter too much. Being a newlywed, I don't think they'll mind having their first year together off from all the family time. :)
Speaking of family time, I just read this awesome article... but instead of telling you all about it, I'll let you find out for yourself: PremiumHowToGuides.com - How To Build Your Family Tree. In related news, I have not one, but two people search sites for you to enjoy this month. That was one, and this is people search number two. I can't tell you which one you'll enjoy more since I think I enjoyed them both about equally.
Now I have to go get ready. We're going to a concert tonight, and I promised her I'd wear jeans. So... I have to go figure out if I have any that don't look like old man jeans, and if I don't... then it's time for a trip to the mall. Wish me luck!
Hello again, friends. Let me, first off, explain the title of this blog. I met this lovely woman my daughter works with at her wedding last month, and well... I haven't been this excited about another human being in the romantic sense since my wife died 9 years ago. I'm trying to be cool, but it's hard for an old guy like me. Anyway, I just thought I'd share. I'll let you know if anything more comes of it. It feels real though. I hate to by a cynic, but I suppose only time will tell.
In other news, I have a ton of great people search related stuff for you this month. I feel like I haven't had that much time online, but every time I go on to look at what's there I find something great. (Maybe it's just because I'm in a great mood, lately? ha.) Anyway, so first off I have a site for you all that was recommended to me by one of my fellow PI friends. It's all about how to be an elite people finder, and it's pretty good. Finding people online is easier than ever before, and with that site I just linked you to, I think even the most uninformed person could have all the basic skills they need to people search like a pro in the space of one afternoon. For those that want to get really advanced, visit this finding people site. It looks like it's just getting started, but there's already a bunch of great info on it.
Ok. So, that's pretty much all I have for now. I could tell you more about the date I have tonight, but I think I'll probably spare you the details of an old man's romance... or at least for now, I will. If things get any more special between me and my lady, I'll probably have trouble keeping myself from shouting it from the rooftops.
Hey all! I am back with with some more people searching tips. Sorry for the delay. Life has been so hectic lately! My daughter just got married last month, so that's why I've been a little nutso. I've been emotional wreck because she's my only one, and I can't believe she's all grown up! Also, I've been working a little harder to pay for wedding. She didn't really want me to pay for it, but I'm quite the traditionalist. Anyways, back to people search, my favorite thing besides my daughter. I have a good link for you all to check out. It's a cool blog I found on Xanga that is really good for people search tips. I'd definitely take a look at that and still keep using people search engines, as they're getting better every day. There are so many new ones out there these days, but I still like to use privateeye.com. I gotta run, but check back later for more tips!
Hey guys! I don't have a lot of time to divulge all my cool people search tips to you right now, but I promise I will over time. Maybe I should just keep you wanting more anyways. I have been pretty busy with work and taking random little mini vacations here and there. I have had some time to people search and surf the net. I found a site I wanted to share real quick before I have to go back to work. It's a blog right her on Vox which is all about searching people. I was glad to find a fellow people searcher right here on this platform. I gotta go back to do some serious people searching now. Hope those sites helped, and check back here for more updates soon!
I was at a neighborhood BBQ this last weekend, and talking with people about my P.I. background, and it came out that most people (in fact, no one at the BBQ) knew that you have to have a license to be a REAL Private Investigator. So if any of you ever can't find who you're looking for by doing people searches online, before you hire a P.I., make sure they are licensed! In fact, even if they say they're licensed, you can always check to make sure they're not lying by doing a professional licenses check on them online before you hire them. In other news, I have some really great reading for you all this month that will really set a good basis for all you amateur online people searchers out there. This site is from a fellow voxer, and also happens to be about how to search people online. It's just getting started (much like this one) so you might want to check back often for fresh content. The next site you'll want to check out is over at Blurty. It's a blog about finding people online, and it's also just getting started, but already has some great stuff on there.
I'm working on my own post full of all my own tips and tricks, but that needs a little more polishing before I can post it here. Check back often though for updates, and thanks for visiting!
